Helen Keller’s determination to enter Radcliffe shows that anyone who has the willpower to overcomes all the obstacles in their path with determination will turn out to be a successful person. Helen faced problems right from her childhood because of her inability to see and hear. Her handicap did not deter her from putting in all the hard work to understand and master her academic subjects. Miss Sullivan was one person on whom she relied on and emerged as a successful personality. Helen Keller worked to enter Radcliffe College. It was not an easy task but she had decided that she would study with normal children. It was only her will power, firm determination and Anne Sullivan's guidance that made her dream come true. Though she did face problems in the college but with her perseverance, sailed out of them. Helen Keller became the first deaf-blind person to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree. She went to regular schools and colleges, and succeeded in spite of her disadvantages due to which she had to work extra hard to keep up with her studies. Despite her moments of doubt and resentment she persevered and achieved her goals.
