meaning of the term ‘multinational corporation’ with an example.

A multinational corporation is a large company which carries on its productive and business activities in more than one country. It is also referred to as a transnational corporation as its operations extend beyond the boundaries of the nation in which it was initiated. For example, MNCs working in India are Johnson and Johnson, Coca-Cola, etc. Indian MNCs include Tata steel, Reliance Industries, etc.
