  1. Dairy farming is an important occupation of the people in New Zealand as the climate of the country is temperate and moist making it favourable for cattle rearing. New Zealand exports wool, meat and milk products in large quantities.
  2. Most of the rivers in New Zealand are not suitable for navigation as they are either too short or too turbulent.
