(a) Aerobic respiration is the complete breakdown of glucose in the presence of oxygen. So, it produces more energy. On the other hand, anaerobic respiration is the incomplete breakdown of glucose in the absence of oxygen. So, it produces less energy.
(b) Respiration involves the breakdown of complex molecules into simple ones. So, it is a catabolic process.
