- Any substance which harms the environment causes environmental pollution.
- Pollution is thus, said to be curse to modern age development and big environmental problem.
- Pollution is dangerous to our health as well as to the environment.
- It can lead to sickness and death of living things on the earth. Pollution can also damage crops and lead to unnatural weather.
- Global warming is the direct implication of pollution. If this continues, then it will disturb the Earth's environment and it will be harmful for life on the Earth.
- A direct result of this heating will be the melting of polar ice caps. This in turn will result in the increase in levels of sea water which will lead to floods etc.
Thus, it is said that as the pollution increases, the burden on Earth increases.
