Molality (m) is the number of moles of solute present in 1kg of solvent
Molarity (M) is the number of moles of solute present in 1L of solution
In 1 molar solution, 1 mole of solute is present in 1000 g of solvent whereas in 1 molar solution, 1 mole of solute is present in 1000 mL of solution. Solution is made up of solvent and solute. Hence in 1 molar solution amount of solvent is less. Hence its concentration is more.
Hence 1 molar solution is more concentrated than 1 molal solution.
