kgf is an old unit of force
1kilogram-force is the force with which the Earth acts upon an object of mass 1 kilogram, at a location where the earth's gravity is 9.81 m/s².
Thus 1 kgf = 9.81 newtons
So Kgf can be used for force if we have not multiplied certain digit by acceleration due to gravity.
