Hi Prashant, Menstruation is the periodic discharge of blood and the endometrium from the lining of uterus and vagina. The process of developing in the body or mind is called maturation. There is an another definition for maturation in biological terms i.e the development of ova and spermatozoa from precursor cells in the ovary and testis, involving meiosis. Placenta carries oxygen and nutrients to the blood of the developing foetus.
