Nominalisation is a process of transforming a verb or an adjective into a noun.
We can form nouns by adding suffixes such as -ion, -ment, -ence, -ancy, -ant, -sis, -es to verbs.
Determine- Determination
Announce- Announcement
Adhere- Adherence
Absorb- Absorbancy
Depress- Depressant
Analyse- Analysis
We can form nouns by adding suffixes such as -ness, -ence, -ance, -cy,-ity to adjectives.
Happy- Happiness
Confident- Confidence
Elegant- Elegance
Vacant- Vacancy
