question Asked by arindeep.singh | 16 Sep, 2020, 10:07: PM Expert Answer
2x+2 - 3y+1 = 5 ... (1)
2x + 3y = 17 ... (2)
Multiplying (2) by 3, we get
2x+2 - 3y+1 = 5 ... (1)
2x3 + 3y+1 = 51 ... (2)
2x+2 + 2x3 = 56
2x(22+3) = 56
2x(7) = 56
2= 8 = 23
x = 3
From (ii), we get
8 + 3y = 17
3y = 9 = 32
y = 2
