1. x5 - 3x2 - 5x It is a polynomial since the powers of x are positive integer.
2. x1/3 + x2 It is not a polynomial since the power of x is not a positive integer.
3. rootx + 2 = x1/2 + 2 It is not a polynomial since the power of x is not a positive integer.
4. x2 + root 2 x = x2 + 21/2 x It is a polynomial since the power of x are positive integers.
5. 3 + 1/3 It is a polynomial since the power of x is 0.
6. x-3 + x It is not a polynomial since the power of x is not a positive integer.
7. 1/x + x2 = x-1 + x2 It is not a polynomial since the power of x is not a positive integer.
8. -2x2 + 3x3 + 5 It is a polynomial since the powers of x are positive integers.
9. 4 root x + 3x = 4x1/2 + 3x It is not a polynomial since the power of x is not a positive integer.
10. x2/3 + 3x It is not a polynomial since the power of x is not a positive integer.
