If one diagonal bisects the other, will the other bisect the diagonal?

Expert Answer:
If diagonal 1 bisects diagonal 2, it is not necessary that diagonal 2 bisects diagonal one.
A good example would be a kite.
In a kite, the longer diagonal bisects the shorter one, however, the shorter one does not bisect the longer one.
Its not silly at all. Its always better to clear your doubts.
