How to find a number as a anthemic progression number?

Take the given number as nth term i.e. an
Then equate it to a+(n-1)d
And then find the value of basis on the values of a and d.
If the value of n is a positive integer, then the number belongs to the arithmetic progression.
If the value of n is not a positive integer, the number does not belong to the arithmetic progression.
