The basic source of energy for all living organisms on Earth is sun. Plants and other autotrophs are able to fix the solar energy through photosynthesis and make it available for herbivores. Carnivores get their energy by feeding on herbivores.
So frogs g???e???t??? ???t?????h?e?i?r? ?e?n?e?rgy by feeding on insects, that have either directly or indirectly derived their energy from plants, and plants from sun. Thus it can be seen that a leaping frog derives its energy from the sun.
