Let ρ is resistivity of copper (ρ =1.72×10-8 Ω-m) , l is length and A is area of crosssection

Resistance of copper wire = ρ×l/A  = 1.72×10-8 ×1000×4/(π×0.5×0.5×10-6) ≈ 87.6 Ω
