(1) Draw AB = 5 cm.

(2) From AB, cut off AE = DC = 3.2cm.

(3) With E as centre and radius EC = AD = 2.8cm, draw an arc.

(4) With B as centre and radius BC = 3 cm, draw an arc to intersect the arc of step 3 at C.

(5) With A as centre and radius AD = 2.8 cm, draw an arc on the same side of AB as that of C.

(6) With C as centre and radius CD = 3.2cm, draw an arc to intersect the arc of step 5 at D.

(7) Join AD, BC and CD.

(8) ABCD is the required trapezium.
