Let speed of  km/hr.

and  km/hr.

Therefore according to the question we get two equation.

Now Let begin mathsize 12px style 1 over straight x equals straight A space and space 1 over straight y equals straight B end style

Then equation (1) and (2) becomes

               …….. (4) 

Adding (3) and (4) we get

                 

Putting this value of A in (3) we get

         

 But begin mathsize 12px style straight A equals 1 over straight x space or space straight x equals 10 over 3 end style

 and begin mathsize 12px style straight B equals 1 over straight y space or space straight y equals 5 end style

Hence speed of A is begin mathsize 12px style 10 over 3 end style km/hr and B is 5 km/hr.
