A man saves Rs. 320 in January, Rs. 360 in February, Rs. 400 in March and so on.
Difference between the savings of January and February = 360 - 320 = Rs. 40
Difference between the savings of February and March = 400 - 360 = Rs. 40
Thus, the savings 320, 360, 400, ... forms an AP with first term a = 320 and common difference d = 40
Savings of January is the first term.
Savings of February is the second term.
Savings of March is the third term.
Therefore, savings of November will be the eleventh term.
Therefore,
a11 = a+10d = 320+10(40) = 320+400 = 720.
Hence, the savings in the month of November in the same year is Rs. 720.
