A cricketer has a mean score of 58 runs in nine innings find out haw many runs are to be scored in the tenth innings to raise the mean to 61.

Let the score in tenth inning be x.
mean=sum / total no:
58=sum/9
sum=522
mean=522+x / 10
61=522 + x / 10
552 +x = 61*10
x =58
Therefore, score in the 10 inings is 58.
