Why is empty set a proper subset of all sets??

Answer : The proper set means that a sunbset has all the members present in the other set. 
for eg : set   A= {1,2} and set B= {1,2,3,4}
=> A is a proper subset of B.
Similarly , the null set is defined as having no members ( empty set), therefore we can say that it is contained into all the sets , as it is neither increasing the lenght of any set, neither adding any member which is not present in the any set.
