# Water is flowing at 5km/hr through a pipe of radius 7cm into a rectangular tank 25cm*22cm. Find the time in which the level of water in the tank will rise by 21cm.

dear student,
the volume of water  in the tank when the level in the tank is 21 cm will be
=25 x 22 x 21
let it takes t hrs.
so vol of water coming out in t hrs from the pipe=25 x 22x21
so,
in t hrs the water coming out of the pipe
= cu m...using 1km =1000 m
so
cu cm...(using 1 m =100cm)= 25 x22x21 cu cm
solve this and get the value of t in hrs, multiply it with 60 to get t in min and that answer you can multiply to get t in seconds.
