 All noble gases have the maximum number of electrons possible in their outer shell (2 for Helium, 8 for all others), making them stable.
 
  • Fairly nonreactive
  • Complete valence shell
  • High ionization energies
  • Very low electronegativities
  • Low boiling points (all gases at room temperature)

 
The general name is Noble gases.
