3x-4 is a factor of 3xsquare+2x-k

It is given that (3x-4) is a factor of 3x2+2x-k=0
So, x = 4/3 would be a solution of the given quadratic equation.
Subsituting, x = 4/3 we get
3(4/3)2 + 2(4/3)- k = 0
16/3+8/3-k=0
Hence, k = 8
