Two half reactions with E0 values are given below
(i) Fe3+ + e → Fe2+ ; E0 = +0.77 V
(ii) Fe2+ + 2e → Fe ; E0 = –0.44 V

Answer:

2Fe3+ + Fe → 3Fe2+

Fe will react with Fe3+, and gets oxidised &  Fe3+gets reduced

Hence,

E=E0 (Fe3+) - E0 (Fe)

  = 0.77 - (-0.44)

  = 1.21
