Let us first find out the meeting point of the two trajectories y = a sinωx and y = acosωx;
 
a sinωx = a cosωx;
 
sin2ωx = cos2ωx = 1-sin2ωx;
 
hence sin2ωx = (1/2) ; sinωx = (1/√2) ;
 
ωx = sin-1(1/√2) = π/4 ; hence x =  π/(4ω);
 
y coordinate is obtained by substituting x value in both trajectory, we get y = a/√2
 
hence option(c) is the correct answer.
