Shell Theorem-2 in gravitation :- a uniformly dense spherical shell exerts no gravitational force on a particle located anywhere inside it.
 
As per the above shell theorem, gravitational field at P due to both unequal parts of spherical shell is zero. This is possible only if field due to the two parts are equal and opposite. Hence magnatiude of both the fields are equal. |I1| = |I2|
