Q) Find the sum of all the numbers greater than 10000 formed by using the digits 1,3, 5, 7, 9 no digit being repeated in any number.

As shown in figure every fixed digit placed at the place of 104 , we can fill the other digit at other places in 24 ways without repeating the digits.
Hence sum of place value of 104 = ( 1+3+5+7+9)×24×104 .........................(1)
 
Similarly sum of place value of 103 = ( 1+3+5+7+9)×24×103 .......................(2)
 
Similarly sum of place value of 102 = ( 1+3+5+7+9)×24×102 .......................(3)
 
Similarly sum of place value of 101 = ( 1+3+5+7+9)×24×101 .......................(4)
 
Similarly sum of place value of 100 = ( 1+3+5+7+9)×24×100 .......................(5)
 
If we add all the sum of place values from eqn.(1) to eqn.5), we get  666×104 + 6600
