If c is the velocity of light in free space, the time taken by light to travel a distance of x in a medium of refractive index is? 1-x/c.refractiveindex,b-c.refractive index/x b-refractive index. x/c,d-c/refractive index. x

Answer:
Refractive index of a medium μ = c / v. where c is velocity of light in air/vacuum and v is that of in medium.
Hence velocity of light in medium is v = c / μ. The distance 'x' travelling time in medium is then x / (c/μ) = (μx)/c.

Please you choose the option as per this answer. The different options you have typed is not understood by me
