In order to find maxiumum velocity, the condistion is that 
Force (F) = Fs (max)
p / v = uN
with the help of the force diagram it is obvious that N = mg
therefore, 
p / v = u x mg
v = p / u x mg
 
Therefore, the maxiumum velocity is
begin mathsize 12px style straight v equals straight p over mg end style
