Since the car is moving on a circular track with non-uniform speed, it is assumed required acceleration is total acceleration.
 
Total acceleration in this case is time dependent.
 
speed v at time t is given by, v = u + a t  = 30 + (2)t
 
Hence radial acceleration,  ar =  (v2 / r) = (30+2t)2 /500 m/s2
 
Tangential acceleration at = 2 m/s2
 
Total acceleration,  begin mathsize 14px style a subscript T space equals space square root of a subscript r superscript 2 space plus space a subscript t superscript 2 end root space equals square root of open parentheses 30 plus 2 t close parentheses to the power of 4 over 500 squared plus space 4 end root end style
