What is the first and second derivative of the function: r=12/theta - 4/theta^3 + 1/theta^4
A train standing on a platform is blowing a whistle of frequency 400Hz calculate
1. Frequency
2. wave length
3. the speed of the sound as observed by a person standing a few meters away from the platform toward the observer with a speed of 10Ms-1
Discuss the laws of viberations of the string.
Is there any difference between waves and progressive waves. I know that progressive waves are a type of waves but i actually want to ask that (except standing waves) the normally word 'wave' used by us in common language (e.g. sound waves we talk about ) are progressive ones?
According to the video on standing waves the phase difference between the two waves is 0 but yesterday i posted a que with this diagram to ask for the phase difference (somewhat like standing waves and got the answer (pie/2)c. can you pleasse tell me the meaning of 'c' too?
what is the phase difference between these twoo waves
a wave travelling along a string is described by the equation
y(x,t)=.05 sin(40x-5t)in which the numerical costants are in SI unit.calculate the 1)amplitude 2) wavelength 3)timeperiod.also calculate the displacement at distance 35cm and time 10s
