Yes, I agree that the drainage system in Harappan cities indicates town planning. It is because streets with drains were laid out first and then houses were built along them. Every house was connected to the street drain. Every house had its own bathroom paved with bricks, with drains connected through the wall to the street drains. House drains emptied themselves into the main drain. The drainage system and drains were covered with bricks or stones. They were provided with inspection holes at regular intervals for cleaning.
