why rate of forward reaction is directly proportional to product of active mass of reactants.

as if we increase mole of reactants it will take more time to form product

Rate of reaction is the ratio of concentration of reactant per unit time and concentration is moles per liter.
so with increase in number of moles of the reactants time required for the reaction will also increase (Moles and time is directly proportional wrt rate)
