Why can't we charge a conductor using rubbing?

Answer:
You can't charge everything by rubbing it. For example, you can't charge a conductor by rubbing it because a conductor is not good at holding charge. Charge runs freely through conductors. So, the charge would be lost as quickly as it was made.
