mean free path l is given by

...................(1)n = number density = 1000×106 /cm3 = 1000×106×106 /m3 = 1015 /m3
d = moleculer diameter = 2 × 10-10 m
Substitue these numbers in (1) to get mean free path. I got the answer as 5.63 km
