sin function is periodic with period 2pi&it completes one cycle in 2 pi radians...what is meant by the statement?

Answer:
A function is period with a period of 2pi means 
f(x) = f(x + 2pi) 
 
i.e. the value of function will repeat itself after 2pi. 
 
Also, sin function can be represented by a circle with radius equal to 1. The points on the circle define the value of sinx and hence, after 1 complete circle i.e. after complete 2pi radians, the values are again repeated. So, the period again is 2pi.
