(a) balancing length does not depend on the resistance of galvanometer
true. At balancing position there is no current flow (or negligible current flow). Hence resistance of galvanometer does not matter.
 
(b) positive terminals must be connected to point A.
not necessary. If we take care of galvanometer connection as per the current flow direction, there is no need to connect positive terminals to point A always.
 
(c) true. explanation is given for (b) also valid for this condition
 
(d) true.
