Answer:
Let Φ be the angle between two plane mirrors. An incident ray which is making an incident angle θ is getting reflected by second mirror.
Net deviation of the light ray after second reflection is 180+2Φ as shown in figure. (please work out the required geometry in the given figure)
hence 180+2Φ = 300 or Φ = 60º
hence number of images = (Φ/360)-1 = (60/360)-1 = 5
