How is Eduncle for JEE Advanced Preparation? How should I prepare for JEE Advanced exam? i am in class 12th and I am confused how should I balance my preparation of boards and JEE simultaneously?
Practice reactions every day. Write reactions 10 times, understand its mechanism.
Follow a daily routine:
Create a timetable or follow a daily routine. This will keep you organized and disciplined. As mentioned before, if you need more time to practice sums/problems, then give more time to that. Work on your weak areas, strengthen your strong areas.
Time Management:
Time management is one of the key factors towards good preparation for exams. If you manage your time well, everything will fall into place.
- Always start preparing for 'Basics' because it is really important to have a good base for a right foundation.
- Never prefer solutions of questions before giving a good attempt to the question. Try to solve the problem till you exhausted, always give a second or third attempt to the problem before moving to solution page.
- Do not leave the question in middle. Never jump from one question to another in hurry. Lots of students practice questions without attempting it fully.
- Always try a question with Conceptual Approach, do not just read the question and start solving it without realising the points that what is being asked in the question.
- Always keep the syllabus with you, before preparing the new topic to look at the syllabus first.
- Always try to solve 50-60 problems on per topic or chapter, but try to solve the quality problems which need different applications and concepts to solve the problem.
- Keep a copy of a periodic table in your wallet. Try learning the periodic table when you get free time. For example, travelling by public transport or just waiting in the line for something.
- You can also learn the periodic table by catchy song or a sentence. You can either create your own or go on the internet.
- Learn all the trends of the modern periodic table.
- Make your own strategy to crack the exam, rather than following others.
- Try to learn the fundamentals of the concepts rather than memorising the concepts.
- Always practice previous year's papers; it will give you the idea about the type of questions asked in the exam, and the level of difficulty of the questions.
- Always remember that time is the really important factor for every exam. Try to finish your paper well before time, so that you will get time to review your answers.
