Answer:
From t=0 s to t=2s, ( duration 2 s ) we have accelerated motion.
acceleration :-  " v = u+a×t,  u=0 " ;  8 = a×t ; hence a = 4 m/s2
Distance travelled S1 = (1/2)×4×2×2 = 8 m .....................................(1)

from t=2 s to t=10 s (duration 8 s), uniform motion with speed 8 m/s
Distance travelled S2 = 8×8 = 64 m .................................................(2)

from t=10 s to t=12 s (duration 2 s), we have retarded motion
retardation :-  " v = u-a×t " ;  4 = 8-a×2 ;  retrdation a = 2 m/s2
Distance travelled S3 ; " S = u×t-(1/2)×a×t2 " ;   S3 = 8×2 - (1/2)×2×2×2 = 12 m ...................(3)

from t=12 s to t=16s (duration 4 s), we have uniform motion with speed 4 m/s
Distance travelled S4  = 4×4 = 16 m .................................................(4)

total distance travelled S1+S2+S3+S4 = 8+64+12+16 = 100 m

acceleration at t=11 s is -2 m/s2
