Electric Potential Energy stored in a charged capacitor......

Answer:
Energy stored in a capacitor is nothing but the electrical potential energy.
Thus it is related to the charge Q and voltage V on the capacitor.
ΔPE = qΔV
While applying the above equation for electrical potential energy to a capacitor, it should be noted that
ΔPE is the potential energy of a charge q
passing through a voltage ΔV.
