define strong acid , weak acid ..........give examples
Strong acids: A strong acid vigorously ionises in aqueous solution thereby producing a high concentration of hydronium ions (H3O+).
Examples: HNO3, HCl, H2SO4
Weak acids: Weak acids ionise only partially in aqueous solution to produce ions and molecules.
Examples: H2CO3, CH3COOH, HCOOH
