Record the following transactions in the sales and sales return books of Modern Book Depot for the month of August 2016 and Post them into ledger. 1 Sold 200 copies of Book Keeping and Accounting book @ Rs.550 per copy less 20% trade discount to Sheth Publishers. 6 Sold 300 copies of Navneet Book Keeping Digest @ Rs.425 per copy less 20% trade discount to Amar Book House. 7 Sold 50 copies of Navneet Book Keeping Digest @ Rs.425 per copy less 10% trade discount to Parle Book Depot. 14 80 copies of Book Keeping and Accounting book which was purchased on 1st Aug, 2016 was returned by Sheth Publishers. 19 45 Copies of French Digest was returned by Mulund Book House which was purchased by cash @ Rs.600 per copy. 23 120 copies of Navneet Book Keeping Digest were returned by Amar Book House which they purchased on 6th Aug, 2016. 25 450 copies of French Digest was purchased by Navneet Prakashan @ Rs.600 per copy and allowed 10% trade discount. 28 Sold furniture @ Rs.800 as it became obsolete.
