Since Aschelminths closely relate to Platyhelminths, they are protostomic in which development of blastopore forms the mouth on the anterior end and anus appears later to complete the alimentary canal. For example- Flatworms. Aschelminths are referred to as pseudocoelomates that have a body cavity around the gut because it does not exist within the mesoderm and its development in the embryo is quite different as compared to the body plan of true coelonates.
