General wave equation is given above. Ym is the amplitude, λ is wavelength, T is period, x is diplacement at time t.
 
amplitude = 0.25×10-3
Wavelength:  2π/λ = 0.025; hence λ = 2π/0.025 = 2π×40 = 80π
 
period:  2π/T = 500; T = 2π/500 = 0.04π
 
frequency = 1/(.04π) = 250/π = 79.58
