Horizontal componenet uof velocity is unaffected.

At starting point, vertical component of velocity is zero.

After 0.7 s vertical component of velocity uis given by, uy = g×t = 10×0.7 = 7 m/s

velocity of the body after 0.7s  = begin mathsize 12px style square root of 4 squared plus 7 squared end root space almost equal to space 8 space m divided by s end style
