Answer:
Resonating structures of phenol have a positive charge on electronegative oxygen atom hence its resonating structure is less stable.
 

 

 

 
The resonating structures of phenoxide ion are more stable than phenol.

 

 

There no such resistance like positive charge on oxygen atom in phenoxide ion hence phenoxide ion has more stability than phenol.
