Answer:
Magnetic field produced by the two coils are in perpendicular direction with respect to other.
If B is field due to coil x, coil y will generate a field 2B because the current raio between the coil x and y is 1:2.
 
hence two fields B and 2B will give a resultant field √5B.
The resultant makes an angle θ with the 2B field direction so that θ = tan-1(0.5) as shown in figure
