Conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education, the All India Pre-Medical Test (AIPMT) is an entrance examination for students who aspire to get into various State level and National level Medical Colleges for MBBS, BDS, BAMS and BHS courses. Owing to the fact that it is one of the toughest exams to crack, it is critical be aware of every aspect of the exam, including the paper pattern, marking scheme, important topics and cutoffs

Structure of the Exam

Paper Pattern: The AIPMT paper has 180 questions. Each question is for 4 marks. Questions in the paper are in the form of multiple choice questions. There are 45 questions each from Physics and Chemistry and 90 questions from Biology. There is negative marking in this exam. For every correct answer, 4 marks are given, but for each wrong answer, 1 mark will be deducted.
