NEET 2021 Counselling

NEET 2019 Counselling will begin by 20th June 2019. Counselling is the next step after the results are out. The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) will be starting with the counselling on behalf of the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). NEET 2019 counselling for 15% quota seats will be taken in 2 rounds. For ESIC (Employees’ State Insurance Corporation) colleges, deemed and central universities, counselling will be taken in 3 rounds. The results of counselling will be in the form of a seat allotment letter and seat allotment list.

Steps for NEET 2019 counselling:

  1. Registration:
    Register yourself on the official site for counselling. For registration, you must fill the personal and academic details which should be matching the details you have filled in the NEET 2019 application form.
  2. Fees payment (fee structure):
    Once you have registered yourself, you will have to pay the non-refundable fees and refundable fees. These fees are payable online with credit/debit cards or through net banking.

  3. Choice of college:
    • After the payment of fees, students get to choose different colleges as per their preference where they can select unlimited choices and place them from the most preferred to the least preferred, even though the placement of college will be done on the basis of the cut off and marks students get.
    • Seat allotment result:
      With the choice and preference about the colleges that students will fill, results will be declared after every counselling round, consisting of different colleges given to students. Students can log in and check accordingly.
    • Seat confirmation:
      Once you have got your results and filled your choice of colleges, you will be placed in the college according to your marks. You must then follow the further procedures of admission which will be offline.
